Remember that the club has an extensive set of darkroom equipment that can be used for B&W or colour developing and printing. This set is available to members, free of charge, on a short-term loan basis. If you are interested in borrowing the set then please speak to an Committee member at one of the club meetings.
We'd love the interest of the clubs as it is a project that may produce an image that can be used to highlight the Murray 's plight, there is no cost to enter, and moderate prize, but for a good cause.

Dear President,
I hope you don't mind us emailing you but we recently viewed your society's website and thought some of your members may be interested in entering the 2008 Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. The competition, which is co-owned by the Natural History Museum, London and BBC Wildlife Magazine, has been running for 44 years and is a showcase for the best wildlife pictures taken by photographers worldwide.
Each year the winning images are displayed at the Natural History Museum , London , as well as at venues around the UK and internationally, and a hardback portfolio book is also produced.
The call for entries for the 2008 competition has just begun and this year we have 14 categories to choose from as well a £10,000 prize on offer for the overall winner.
The winning images from the 2007 competition and further information on how to enter can be found on our website http://www.nhm.ac.uk/visit-us/whats-on/temporary-exhibitions/wpy-entry/
Please feel free to forward this information onto your members and if you have any questions we'll be happy to help.
Best wishes

I thought that your photography club members might be interested in joining Peregrine Adventures to discover some of the world's most beautiful places through the camera lens, and in the company of a world-renowned photographer. What's more, I wanted to make you aware of a special $100 discount that we'd like to offer to your club members, the details of which are also in this flyer (PDF file) .
I hope that you don't mind me sending the information directly to you about the Peregrine in Focus photographic trips, I found your e-mail address through the Australian Photographic Society Website.
As way of a brief introduction, Peregrine has led the field in small group adventure travel for 30 years. We run trips on all seven continents and are highly committed to responsible travel, employing locally born and raised tour leaders who take our travellers off the beaten track to show them the true heart and soul of their homeland.
We've recognised that interest in photography-focused tours has been increasing over the past couple of years. As a result, and in consultation with two world-renowned photographers - John Rodsted and Christian Pearson, we have organised a series of special trips to India , Nepal , Jordan and Cambodia , which John and Christian will escort, along with our local tour leaders of course.
I hope that this information will be of interest to you and your club members. Should you like to have a further chat with me about these trips and Peregrine, please reply to this e-mail or contact me on the below details. Further information can also be found on our website www.peregrineadventures.com/photography .
If you are unhappy to have received this e-mail from me, and would not like us to contact you again, please e-mail me, and I offer you my apologies in advance.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
