Welcome

 

The club conducts meetings regularly in North Adelaide with competitions, practicals, workshops and social weekends planned.

 

Meetings are held at the rear of 176 Tynte Street, North Adelaide. Visitors to the club are always welcome. Please feel free to drop in on the night.

 

If you are looking to join the club, then please come along to any of the meetings at the clubrooms and take a look. Introduce yourself to any of the committee members (they wear committee badges) and they will be pleased to answer any questions that you have.

 

 

Congratulations to Carmen and Lawrence on the birth of their baby girl Emma.

 

What's planned for 2010?

The 2010 programme is now available.

The programme for the coming year is outlined with monthly competitions and activities. Some dates and activities may change from time to time or additional information will be added as it comes to hand during the year, so check back regularly to keep up to date.

Definitions for the set subject competitions are outlined too so have a look and make yourself familiar with the specifics for each set subject.

February 9 - Competition & Image Challenge: Water transport

 

February 23 - Workshop - Competitions, exhibitons, APS honours & image categories explained.

 

March 9 - Workshop - Swimwear shoot at Grange Jetty

The committee is considering the value of establishing a Facebook group for the ACC to provide a vehicle for more direct access and communication between club members.

We could use this page to discuss all things photography, post new work, plan and advertise social events and exhibitions, or just keep in contact outside club meetings.

Please Note:

 

The Beach Shoot for 9 March wil not be at Semaphore as previously programmed. The Semaphore Jetty is in somewhat of a bad shape at the moment and is deemed unsafe in parts.

 

The Beach Shoot will be at the Grange Jetty.
